Living in a Van

I bought a 23 foot Sprinter Van  I named Agnes a few years ago to create the perfect adventure mobile.  I put in a full sized bed, fridge, microwave, sink and water supply, along with shelves and places to stash my gear.  I moved out of my condo in San Diego and into campervan.  Wilson the Dog and I would park next to the beach or in front of a friend’s house in the neighborhood I worked in.  I’d get up and go to work, come back for a lunch visit with Wilson, then spend my evenings imbibing on the cliffs at sunset.  Being “homeless”  was a wonderfully simple time in my life.

I spent many weeks on the road, visiting friends and enjoying the great outdoors throughout the southwest.

I don’t live in my van anymore.  Now she is relegated to my adventure mobile.  Whether I’m packing climbing gear, surfboards or kayaks, I can’t wait to get out on the road and do some exploring!
